Each student will submit three project ideas. Requirements:

discuss 1-3 project ideas
write three paragraphs total discussing these ideas
you should have at least three references, using Bibtex references
no grade will be assigned, but the submission is mandatory

The reason for using Latex is for you to get a chance to do something very simple with it before you have to do more involved things.
Each student will write a proposal for their course project. Requirements:
discuss the topic with the instructor before writing the proposal

3 pages in length (Ten percentage points will be taken off for every page over the limit)
contains at least 6 references

The progress report is a revision and extension of the proposal. Requirements:
incorporates feedback
discusses progress made on the topic since the proposal

The final report builds on the progress report. Requirements:
incorporates feedback
presents the project results and conclusions
